Our story in one Minute

Because opportunity changes everything.

Displacement should never end a future.

Uganda hosts nearly 1.94 million refugees, most under 24. We exist to make sure losing a home doesn't mean losing a path forward.
Founded by a refugee woman leader, SAUPAS turned grassroots skills training into a growing model for dignity, self-reliance, and community-led change.

RefuWay

RefuWay is SAUPAS Foundation's offline-first digital education initiative that brings curriculum-aligned lessons, AI-guided learning to young refugees, wherever they are and whatever device they can access. At its heart are our Youth Ambassadors, refugee and host-community youth trained to mentor their peers, support learners through hardship, and keep them connected to school, safety, and hope. RefuWay isn't just a platform. It's a promise that displacement doesn't have to mean the end of a child's education, or their future.
